HOW LONG DOES THE GOSHI EXFOLIATING SHOWER TOWEL LAST?

GOSHI’s signature two-layer weave is built to last. We typically recommend replacing your towel every 3 to 6 months, though we feel confident it can last for a year or more. By that time, however, you may want to replace it anyway. The choice is yours!

It’s important to remember that everyone is different. If you’re a high-performance athlete or work in a field where you sweat steadily or take on the elements, you might choose to replace your more often.

One final variable is how you treat your GOSHI. The same way you need to rinse off, make sure you rinse out all the soap and hang to dry every time you use your GOSHI. This will ensure you get the most out of it.

WHAT IS GOSHI Exfoliating Shower Towel MADE OUT OF?

The Exfoliating Shower Towel is made of 100% recyclable nylon. We looked into all other materials, but they would quickly break down, lose their texture, and/or deteriorate. The solution we came up with is a long-lasting fabric that hold its composition and coarse exfoliating texture over time.

I’VE BEEN USING OTHER PRODUCTS SIMILAR TO THIS. WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

GOSHI set out to find what to use instead of a loofah, washcloth, or back scrubber—which harbor lots of bacteria—but similar products available in the U.S. just aren’t up to par with what’s offered domestically in Japan. Japan has made lots of advancements made in manufacturing techniques, while most of what’s available hasn’t been updated since the 1960s.

Additionally, our manufacturing costs alone add up to more than the retail prices of other exfoliating body towels sold in the U.S. That’s because The Exfoliating Shower Towel is made in Gunma, Japan, by some of the best textile producers in the world. They have put a lot of time, money, and energy into refining and creating the most up-to-date machinery for their products. This region has been making textiles for over 1,000 years! In the same way products range from cheaper, lesser quality to higher quality (usually with higher pricing due to production costs), the same goes for exfoliating body cloths.

We’re proud of our team and the product we produce. We stand by that.
